What this integration does
Enterprise sales teams live in Salesforce. The problem with most LinkedIn automation tools is that they were designed for HubSpot and treated Salesforce as an afterthought — if they integrated at all. Infonet's Salesforce integration is a real managed package on the AppExchange, with proper field mapping, Apex hooks, and Process Builder triggers.
Capabilities
Lead and Contact two-way sync
Configure which Salesforce object Infonet writes to (Lead, Contact, or convert based on rules). Both directions sync.
Tasks and Activity Timeline
Every Infonet touch creates a Salesforce Task tied to the Lead/Contact. Subject auto-set, completion-date populated, notes carry the message body.
Opportunity-stage awareness
When a related Account has an Opportunity past 'Qualify,' outbound to other Contacts at that Account auto-pauses to avoid double-touching.
Apex / Flow triggers
Reply events fire a webhook that any Salesforce Flow can consume. Common: assign-to-AE, create Opportunity, post to Slack, add to a Pardot list.
Custom object support
Up to 5 custom objects with field mapping. Common: Custom 'Outbound Touch' objects for advanced reporting.
Duplicate rule honoring
New Contacts created via Infonet pass through your standard Salesforce duplicate matching. No duplicate creation.
Setup

Does this work with Salesforce Essentials?
Essentials supports the basic sync but not Apex triggers. Professional and above run the full feature set.
How does this respect Salesforce duplicate rules?
Infonet honors all existing duplicate management rules. New contacts created via Infonet pass through your standard duplicate matching before insert.
Can I sync custom objects?
Yes. The integration supports up to 5 custom objects with field mapping.
What about person accounts vs business accounts?
Both are supported. The integration auto-detects which model your org uses.
Does this trigger Pardot / Marketing Cloud workflows?
Yes. Replies and conversion events propagate via Salesforce so any downstream marketing automation that listens on Lead/Contact field changes will fire.
Is there a sandbox-to-production deployment path?
Yes. The managed package supports sandbox installation for staging tests, then production deployment via standard change set or unmanaged-package promotion.
